I think September is my favorite month of the year. I've never put much thought into it before, but I am currently, in this moment, quite certain that it is my favorite. It's that lovely tail end of Summer with Fall gently easing in with the casual sleepy manner only Autumn could ever manage. Still warm in the last long rays of sunshine while the flora soak up that last bit of energy to shift their efforts to hibernating. The colors and the cool evenings with a cuppa in hand, early mornings and weighted breath hanging in the air. All the good spices mulling about in pots and ciders and breads and pies. Celebrating the lives of some of my most darling humans.
September is just lovely.
And is a lovely time to be creating, so here is some of the lovely we created this September.
Then, just when I think September is my favorite, October comes along.
And isn't it glorious?
With its large luscious clouds, sudden rain storms, thunder and lightning followed by glittering trees and bright sunny bursts, startling leaves dropping in blustery gusts of fresh wind, the bountiful harvest season, completed by Muertos Celebrations, and I find myself quoting Anne of Green Gables...
"I am so glad I live in world where there are Octobers."
I can't wait to see what we create this month.
